We are getting old and going out at night for us is not more than meeting some friends at a bar or restaurant for a chat and then go home early. In the first photo above is Mr. C taking his time, a lot of time, to start thinking about getting ready to leave and just below it, already in the lift (elevator for the Americans), my belly and I, on our way to Lagoa.
We went out a few times, a couple in Macaé and another few in Rio: Casa do Brasil (House of Brazil) in Laranjeiras – 5 minutes walk from my house, Botequim in Humaitá, and the Arab in Lagoa. We also managed to go to Baixo Gávea, but during the day: we ate the yummy picanha at Braseiro. Above the only photos I have from one of our nights out at Botequim, with Leo, Cris and Tatá. It rained cats and dogs that night (and many others).
Is this your apartment? Looks lovely!
It’s the living room – small flat but cozy! Miss it quite a lot, hopefully our new house here will be cute and cozy as well.
